A Christian Youth in Action® Testimony
For this week and next week, we are posting two special testimonies from this year’s CYIA!
This week, we’re hearing from John S.:
“This year’s CYIA felt like it had a certain theme to it: call to action. It wasn’t an official theme by any means, but it was one that continued to resonate in my heart and conscience as I was repeatedly challenged to answer the Lord’s calling in my life.
Because of CYIA, that call has never been clearer. This summer, I took a course called TCE1, which involves breaking down CEF’s curriculum and studying in-depth how it all fits together. I not only got to meet new people, young and old, that inspired me with their stories, I also received teaching on the scriptural basis for what I present in Good News Club and 5-Day Club, and got to put it into practice as well.
Never have I felt more equipped to engage children in my community with the Gospel message. Attending CYIA has renewed my fire for growing God’s kingdom, and it was a whole lot of fun, too.”

This is the third year John attended CYIA training camp and led week-long 5-Day clubs in Newport News.
