New Resource for Online Good News Club®

Thank you to those who contacted us after reviewing the information about Good News Across the Web. As a result, we have an exciting addition for this temporary transition to online Good News Clubs. Because of weak or non-existent wi-fi in some areas, we are providing another option for your GNC teams, a weekly GNC on video.

In addition to the need for GNC, churches have a need for children’s Bible teaching. We have heard from several churches seeking help from CEF. During this time when congregations are not meeting, they don’t have an online Bible teaching for their children’s ministry. The GNC video links can be offered to churches for sharing with their families. This may open new doors and strengthen your existing church partnerships.

A 30-minute Good News Club will be posted weekly to the U-NITE YouTube channel for kids.

What is a Good News Club?

Good News Club® is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, apartment complexes. Just about anywhere that children can easily and safely meet with their parent’s permission you could find a Good News Club. Each week the teacher presents an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press. This action-packed time includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story, review games and other activities focused on the lesson’s theme. There are many Good News Clubs in the Virginia Peninsula. Please, contact us today to find one close to you.

As with all CEF ministries, the purpose of Good News Clubs is to evangelize to boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. In light of that goal, we disciple them in the Word of God. In conjunction, we connect them to a local church for Christian living. Because of your generous support, CEF VA Peninsula has many Good News Clubs in the Williamsburg, Newport News and Hampton Roads areas.

We partner with local churches to bring Good News Clubs to the Virginia Peninsula area. Because of this, we are blessed to have many churches involved as a part of their own youth ministry. The Good News Clubs of CEF VA Peninsula compliment the efforts our our churches and seek to reach children outside the church walls.

Children in Good News Club

Can we really teach the Bible in public schools?

Yes! The Gospel has been taught freely in public schools all over the world for some time. Now children in the U.S. have that opportunity, too! In 2001 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Good News Clubs v. Milford Central School that Good News Clubs can meet in public schools in the United States after school hours on the same terms as other community groups. Children attend Good News Club only with their parents’ permission.
