Timely Resources for Children

“No more school, no more books!
No more teachers’ dirty looks!”

Schools in Virginia have closed due to COVID-19. However, children and parents are understandably not rejoicing like they normally would at the end of the school year.
Children are anxious with all the talk of death tolls mounting. Hearing, “I don’t want to die,” from children and grandchildren is a reminder that they are understanding more than we know.
Are you or your church looking for ways to reach out to your families with help and encouragement? These are several resources CEF has available to reassure children that our Creator God hears and cares:

Do You Wonder Why? – Child Evangelism Fellowship® has designed this special booklet to be distributed to children in situations of crisis – man-made or natural disasters. The Do You Wonder Why? booklet answers typical questions that children ask in a crisis situation and presents the hope of simple Gospel truths. Find out more or download sample here.

Good News Club® (GNC) Online – USA CEF Ministries has begun posting weekly GNC lessons onto YouTube. Each 20-minute video includes Bible Lesson, Songs and Memory Verse. The first three lessons: “Jesus is the Almighty God”, “Jesus Gives New Life”, and “Jesus Gives Hope!” are available now. The link to all three videos is: https://www.youtube.com/unitekids.

CEF Mailbox Club™ – This is an exciting through-the-mail discipleship ministry for children and adults. It began in 1999 as a follow-up course for children who had been introduced to the Gospel through The Wonder Book™ and has grown to reach over 255,000 people in more than 130 countries. The Lord is able to use this crisis to turn many hearts to Him. Can you think of a specific child or family who can use encouragement right now?

May God bless you and use you to bless others!
