We Rejoice – A Good News Club Student is Baptized!
An eight-year-old student from Matoaka Good News Club gave me an especially joyous reason to praise the Lord this Thanksgiving.
Carter has attended Good News Club for the last two years. Last summer on the way to baseball practice, he asked his mother if he could ask Jesus into his heart. His mother immediately parked and prayed with him. He decided to delay baptism until this Fall.
What a privilege to be invited to watch him publicly share his salvation decision this Sunday. And the time was made extra special, when in his testimony read to the congregation, he wrote that “he learns about Jesus from his mother and Good News Club.”
Thanks be to God as He uses Good News Club to work in young lives!
