This summer was the first time CEF of Peninsula was able to hire an intern to mentor and transport 5-Day Club teens.
John Steiner was the perfect candidate, having attended Christian Youth in Action training for 4 years and serving on 5-Day Club teams for 5 years. He also has taken Teaching Children Effectively 1, which is a college-level course from CEF Children’s Ministry Institute.
What we love about John is that he is able to speak with grace, correct with kindness, and truly loves children!
John worked with different teams of teens in Hampton, Gloucester, and York counties for 5 out of 6 weeks and a total of 11 clubs!
