Praises
School Staff inquired if GNC would continue in 2019 and were
encouraged to hear, “Yes”.
Christmas Parties in schools, a community center and a church all went well.
Mother Thanks GNC Team for teaching her daughter because she now likes
going to church.
GNC Teams pulled together and finished well the first half of the school year.
Ambassadors received training to introduce CEF and GNCs to pastors and schools.
CEF Provides such wonderful curriculum and a presence in our communities.
Prayer Needs
Tom Boor: Praise the Lord his blood # was in a good range. His M.R.I
indicated a strong heart. He has a bone marrow check in January.
Pray against being fatigued and light headed. There will be a
quarantine time after his future stem cell treatment for his blood
cancer.
Kevin Mooers: Pray for Kevin as he takes on the leadership for the
Peninsula area due to Tom’s health and his new vision. Kevin is also
overseeing the Peninsula Committee (board).
Children’s Needs during the 2 week holiday time. Pray all the children
will have adequate food and know unconditional love. May Christ’s
love encourage and strengthen them.
GNC Training January 19 to help prepare our workers to do their best
for the Lord.
Matthew Whaley GNC team was prevented from holding a Christmas party
due to snow, but is determined and excited for a Spring start in
February. Pray that many team members will attend January training to
be well-prepared.
Poquoson Primary in Yorktown needs final approval. Teens & adults are
preparing for GNC.
Poquoson Intermediate GNC may start in February.
Tyler Elementary in Hampton: The Bassette team will start club by February..
Ambassadors need prayer as they present the GNC opportunities to
churches for adopting a school. They also need wisdom and direction
in presenting GNC to school personnel.
Teens to hear God’s call upon their lives to be used of God in
reaching children in neighborhoods and community centers plus other
opportunities. Pray the finances will be available for them to attend
5 Day Club Training, June 16-22, at Eagle Eyrie Camp.
