In a recent sermon, our pastor outlined 3 questions concerning the will of God and His promises:

  • Can He do it?
  • Does He want to do it?
  • Will He do it?

In CEF, our main mission is to let children know there is a Creator who loves them more than they can imagine. This LORD, a holy God, can’t stand for children to be separated from Him by the sin that comes so naturally.

To bridge that gap, the God who set the required payment for sin sent a Redeemer – the only one who could pay the ransom with His own death – His Son Jesus! The gift of salvation was costly, but is available to every child who believes God’s promise that Jesus spoke in John 3:16.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.”

Then, what is God’s will about children coming to Him through belief in Jesus as Savior?

Can He do it? – As an all-powerful Creator, of course He can. God can do anything that is in line with His character, who He is.

Does He want to do it? – Yes! As proof of His desire to see children set free from sin, He allowed His Son Jesus to die a horribly painful death. To prove that eternal life with God is possible, He raised Jesus from the dead!

Lastly will He do it? – This is where you and I come in. God has given His redeemed the job of letting all nations know this truth. Yes! God will receive as His child anyone who believes the gospel of salvation as a result of our witness.

It has been my honor to serve beside you in this mission to get the Word out to unchurched children – in schools, parks, neighborhoods. I marvel at your steadfastness to Go as a volunteer, to Support in giving to train others, and to Pray that God’s spirit will reach each child.

Now it is time for me to step back. I commend these dear servants to you. Under the Lord’s guidance, they stand ready to expand the reach of Good News Clubs and 5 Day Clubs to new schools and neighborhoods.

God Loves our Ministry. Don’t forget to thank Him for 87 years of guiding/supporting CEF! Read Luke 10:2 daily and pray for workers, funding, and protection from evil so that we can reach His harvest, the children.

Thank you, each one, for your prayer and support this past year!

Love in Christ,
