Heroes of the Faith: Their Stories

Don’t you wish children could have true, godly heroes? Who do today’s children – the leaders for the next generation – admire and want to emulate?

Two aspects of heroism that are missing today are right living and self-sacrifice. Too many sports heroes, stars of TV and movies, and popular singers live for their pleasure, for riches. They ignore the God who created and loves them.

CEF Press is offering these stories of people who followed God despite hardship, giving of themselves so others would see and know the Creator God. Each story has six sections, so can be used as an extra, “come back to hear the rest of the story…” true life lesson. The cost for each is $11.29, less than half the original price.

Isobel Kuhn – Her heartbreaking experience led to Isobel believing in Christ and following God’s call to become a missionary to the Lisu people in China.

Joni Earickson Tada – Joni became paralyzed from a diving accident when she was a teenager. She has dedicated her life to spread the Gospel and has used her tragic circumstances to give glory to God.

Lottie Moon – Lottie Moon had no interest in following God, but God changed her heart and called her to China. There she showed her great love and determination, serving in that country for almost 40 years.
